The Site Engineer is responsible for some or all of the following:
- Topographic and perimeter surveys
- Determination of easements, code requirements, and other legal restrictions
- Delineation of wetlands, floodplains, and other environmental considerations
- Subsurface investigations
- Highway Noise Analysis Studies / Intermodal Transportation Studies
- Steep Slopes Analysis and Design
- Floodplain Review and Determination
- Groundwater Recharge Analysis and System Design
- Stormwater Management and Storm Drainage System Criteria
- Land planning Assistance / Record Plan Preparation
- Assistance at public hearings, council meetings, rezonings, and team meetings
- Traffic impact studies (TIS)
- Interface with technical review and regulatory agencies
- Permit preparation, submission and follow up
- Preliminary and final design for site related items.
- Coordination of Landscaping Plans and specialty subconsultants
- Preparation of cost estimates, construction documents and bidding assistance
- Construction phase services
