LandmarkJCM's staff is among the most talented when it comes to water resources management and remediation.
Beaver Dam stream restoration and habitat creation plan was a result of the planned development of Millville by the Sea, a 608-acre subdivision in Ocean View.
Under the design and direction of our staff, a 10-foot wide drainage ditch was widened to 100 feet, with designed flood plain, pools, a meandering watercourse, and areas that were planted with native tree, shrubs, and wetland plants. The restored stream now more resembles its natural condition, is dominated by native wetland plants, and supports a variety of wildlife.
LandmarkJCM conducted all environmental investigations required including wetland and forest investigation and delineations, state and federal JD's and wetland permitting, agency coordination, wetland mitigation plan, a detailed survey and management plan for the on-site ditch system, Delmarva Fox Squirrel studies, educational sign design, and stream restoration (including design, planting, and invasive plant species control).
Our staff has provided wetland mitigation design and performed soil investigations, environmental impact assessment, and rare species/habitat assessment survey.
