Our history and background
Landmark Engineering, Inc. is a Delaware firm founded in 1987 by a group of five professional engineers with considerable survey, civil engineering and site design expertise. JCM Environmental, Inc., a local firm in operation since 1990, respected for its wetlands and natural sciences expertise, merged with Landmark in 2009, creating a stronger, more diversified company.
LandmarkJCM emerged as a full service firm offering an integrated approach that brings innovation and cost efficiencies to clients' projects.
The firm operates regionally in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with a staff of over 50 professional and graduate civil and environmental engineers, environmental scientists, biologists, ecologists, hydrogeologist, land surveyors, civil/CAD designers, GPS and GIS mapping specialists, and LEED and NGBS green building professionals.
Integrated services include surveys, planning, civil engineering and site design, environmental assessments, wildlife and forest studies, wetland and brownfield mitigation, agency approvals and permitting, construction documents, cost estimates and construction-phase support.
